Stephen "Steve" Wyatt is Ben's father. He is divorced from Ben's mother and is currently dating Ulani, who is pregnant with his child. He and his ex-wife can't stand one another and constantly fight. His first and only appearance is in "Ben's Parents" where he and his ex-wife drive everyone crazy.
He is also mentioned in Flu Season 2, where Ben mentions that his father has sold the family's lake house to Ben's frustration and anger.

- While coming up with the character, Michael Schur said that during the process, the writers agreed Ben's father should "be like Mike Ehrmantraut", a character from the AMC series Breaking Bad. It was thus decided upon that Jonathan Banks, who played Ehrmantraut, should also play Steve.
