Salvatore Manfrellotti has been cutting hair across the street from Pioneer Hall at the Modern Barber Shop since 1958. All of the movers and shakers who have come through Pawnee have sat in Salvatore's chair at one point or another. He's the guy who made Larry Bird look the way he does. He created a hairstyle for Leslie Knope in the episode "The Banquet" that he calls "The Mayor". He passed away in the episode "Two Funerals" for some unspecified reason, causing much distraught to Ron. According to Ron, he is one of the "three most important people in a man's life (along with his lover and butcher)".
