His Royal Excellence Lord Edgar Darby Covington is a recurring character in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. He is the 14th Earl of Cornwall-Upon-Thames and the 29th Baron of Hertfordshire, as well as the head of a charitably organization and a member of the landed aristocracy. He also goes by the nicknames "Eddie" and "Lord Fancy Face". He is played by Peter Serafinowicz.
Storyline[]
Ben and Andy arranged a meeting with Lord Covington in an attempt to secure his involvement with the Sweetums Foundation's after-school music program.
Lord Covington proved to be quite affable, and he got along very well with Andy. He agreed to the project on the condition that Andy would stay in London to help him implement it. Andy reluctantly agreed.
Lord Covington made a surprise appearance on Andy's final "Johnny Karate" TV show, where he knighted both Andy and Ben. Ben questioned the legitimacy of the act, but Lord Covington explained that he is so rich that the Queen lets him do whatever he wants.
