Biography[edit | edit source]
Initially, Karate sang songs at children's birthday parties, but within a year he had his own TV show, which ended in the episode: The Johnny Karate Super Awesome Musical Explosion Show, a show which he famously created and ran entirely by himself, along with the help of Ron Swanson as Carpenter Ron, Ben Wyatt as Professor Smartbrain, April Ludgate, Gary Gergich and Leslie Knope.
Karate was a dim yet extremely lovable persona, shown when he thought teleportation was possible, and was adored by kids all over Southern Indiana from 2015-2017. When he was focusing on more serious issues, he would adopt the Jonathan Karate persona. Jonathan famously led his ninjas into the offices of Dennis Feinstein in 2017, a cologne mogul based in Pawnee, demanding JJ's Diner be allowed to stay open, and Feinstein agreed, however later backed out of his agreement, causing Jonathan and his ninjas to later TP his offices.
It is not known if Johnny Karate had any other appearances on shows after his final episode of The Johnny Karate Super Awesome Musical Explosion Show.
Karate taught five moves to success for every episode:
- Make something
- Learn something
- Karate chop something
- Try something new
- Be nice to someone
