Opening

Eagleton is absorbed back into Pawnee, and Leslie sorts the Eagleton government into their new departments.

Main

The Parks people have to pair with people from Eagleton: April is with Tynnyfer, Donna is with Craig, Tom is with Eric, and Ron is with Ron. Also, Jerry hired again to help with filing, to everyone's disapproval. When Jerry asks them to call him by his real name Garry, April manages to get the whole office to call him Larry Gengirch instead. Leslie reveals she may have to fire some people.

Meanwhile, Chris and Ben demonstrate their amazing teamwork to the new Eagleton employees: as Chris gets everyone excited to celebrate the merger of Pawnee and Eagleton, Ben tells them that the work they did was horrible, losing millions of taxpayer dollars. The two are gleeful at their amazing teamwork.

Larry finds a rotten banana in the filing system.

Everyone meets their counterparts. Craig is crazy, and blows up easily, although he claims to love Donna. April finds that Tynyffer is the worst person she has ever met, and wants to travel the world with her. Ron takes a liking to Ron, as they both share a love for the outdoors. Ron declares that he likes Ron. Tom discovers that ERIC is actually an online facility booking system, but as he realises that he will be replaced, he tells Leslie that ERIC is a racist and sloppy guy.

Ann introduces her Eagleton equivalent to Leslie, before telling Leslie that she's considering moving out of Pawnee into another town. Due to Leslie's dramatic reactions, Ann has to bribe Leslie with waffles and a signed picture of a topless Joe Biden riding on a horse. The news affects Leslie greatly.

As Leslie goes back to meet with the Eagleton counterparts to decide who should leave and who to stay, she becomes increasingly paranoid, and demands everybody's loyalty. Ron discovers that Ron holds values that are opposite of his: Ron is a vegan who believes in meditation, and wearing sandals. Ron declares that he no longer likes Ron. While Tynyffer and April get a spa, April tells Tynyffer that she doesn't belong in Pawnee, and should move to another city. April then gives Tynyffer her address in Miami, telling her to use it and just let herself in; however, the house turns out to be Dwayne Wade's, and April secretly hopes that Tynyffer walks in on Dwayne Wade and he throws a basketball at her head.

Eventually, Leslie demands her friends to sign a loyalty contract, binding them to Pawnee for 50 years. When everyone disagrees, Leslie declares the Eagleton people her new best friend, gathering them in a conference room and giving them mustard and icing cookies. Ron eventually removes Leslie and demands to know what's going on, before advising her to properly discuss with Ann how Ann's move would affect the both of them.

Ben and Chris goes out to dinner, to relive their old state auditing days. Both of them eventually realise that they were never ideal partners, and that the partners they have chosen for themselves, Ann and Leslie, are their true partners. Chris informs Ben that he may be leaving Pawnee; although Ben is sad, he is also incredibly happy for Chris.

Eventually, Ron, Tynyffer and ERIC leave, with ERIC being renamed as TOM. Craig stays, however. Leslie is seen practicing her talk with Ann, before Ann comes in and Leslie sits down to talk with her proper.
