Chris is an MRI technician who works at Pawnee Diagnostic Imaging. He went to the University of Wisconsin–Madison and supports the Badgers, the school's athletic teams. He also has a son named Nate.
He is set up on a date with Leslie Knope by Ann Perkins in the episode "The Set Up". After having dinner with Leslie, he offers to give her a free MRI. The two don't connect and part ways after one date.
It should be noted that while looking at Leslie's MRI results, Chris suggested that Leslie could bare triplets, a prediction that comes true later in the series.
